on october 14, 1980 at approximately 12:00 p.m., victim cecelia k. barrett was found by local hunters in the forest land inside tunnel canyon off south highway 14. the victim was found fully clothed lying under a tree in a very isolated area. there were obvious signs of trauma to her neck caused by strangulation. cecelia barrett was 55 years old at the time of her murder.
